• 1. Why do I need Review services?
  If you want to become IMI Certified Mediator you need to appoint an independent Reviewer to prepare a Feedback Digest based on the performance responses from prior users. Your Reviewer also plays a vital role in helping you develop your individual Continuing Professional Development plan.  

  2. What is the Feedback Digest?  

  The Feedback Digest is a vital part of your IMI Certified Mediator Profile on the IMI web portal, and will be relied upon by anyone considering appointing you as their Mediator. Your Reviewer will prepare and update your Profile based on questionnaires and feedback received from actual users of
  your mediation services.
   

  3. Why should I engage an Independent
  Reviewer?
  The credibility of your Feedback Digest is partly related to the neutrality and professional standing of your Reviewer. You may select as your Reviewer either an individual or an institution. The credibility of your Feedback Digest will in part be determined by the credibility of your Reviewer. Ideal Reviewers will be other IMI Certified Mediators, and institutions recognized by IMI as those appointing their mediation panel members on the basis of competency.
  

  4. Why Independent Reviewer Services from ACB?
  ACB Foundation is  since 1998 an internationally recognized ADR body, with many years of experience in reviewing the performance of mediators and in coaching them to remain among the best in the world.

  

  5. What will an ACB Reviewer do for me?
  An Independent Reviewer from ACB will prepare your Feedback Digest for uploading onto your IMI Certified Mediator Profile and will receive future feedbacks for updating your Feedback Digest as required to maintain your IMI Certification. Your profile will be updated at least once yearly. Upon your request it will be
  updated more frequently.
  Each year you will be invited to discuss your strengths and development needs, growth and learning opportunities and you will receive a recommendation for your Professional Development Plan.
  
  As your Reviewer ACB Foundation can also be indicated on your IMI Certified Mediator Profile as a body that can be approached by potential users who want to obtain a direct reference on you as a mediator.
  ACB also offers coaching for mediators. This can be done by your Reviewer as well.  

  6. What are the cost?
  ACB will charge a once only administration fee for setting up your Review procedure: € 75 ex VAT.
  Besides this a hourly fee of € 225 ex VAT for your Reviewer will be charged.
  In case you want to appoint a specific person as your ACB Reviewer: the hourly prices may vary depending on the specific Reviewer you want to engage.
  Preparing a Feedback Digest based on available written feedback normally takes at least 2 hours for setting up the profile in the first year and 1-2  hours in the following years.
