Moreover the foundation assists with quality control for associated mediation institutions like Result ACB or individual mediators who wish to maintain the highest professional standards.

• IMI International Assessment of Commercial Mediators
  International assessment
  ACB will soon offer several international assessments for business mediators who want to become IMI certified. The assessments are meant to be suitable for all commercial mediators around the globe, no matter where they life or what kind of mediation style or approach they apply. The goal for the mediator is to effectively move parties, independent of a certain approach or training philosophy. The mediators approach and style should match with the self-assessment by the mediator.  The assessment procedure will encourage mediators to voice their own believes and enable them to effectively do expectaton management for their prospective parties. What are their own ideas, what do they see as their approach. During the assessment we will check if the output is consistent with the mediators style and the mediators profile. This self-assessment will together with relf-reflection form an important part of the ACB assessment procedure.

  ACB will offer Post Training assessments as a first profesionalization step for new mediators (YMI assessment). The next step is a Post Experience Assessment for mediators with actual practice experience (IMI assessment).
  Finally there will be advanced assessments like an intercultural assessment, cross border and multi-party cases or complex financial cases (ACB/IMI advanced assessment.

  Professional Development for business mediators
  ACB will soon offer personalized analysis of real life performance of selected business mediators based on users feedback. The personal performance will be compared with all ACB coached mediators as well as Result ACB mediators.
